Pictures of our Flight and New Home in Costa RIca are posted!

Costa Rica Pictures from February 2008
have been posted online featuring 2 albums:
  1. A small album containing a few pictures from our relocation flight from Chicago to San Jose, Costa Rica
  2. A larger album of pictures showing our new home in Las Nubes de Coronado, San Jose, Costa Rica.
My good friend John has extended us the use of his beautiful home until his return ... Junior and I are anxious to make the house and the country of Costa Rica our home.

We hope you enjoy the photos!

Bill, when clickin on the "Costa Rica Pictures from February 2008" link I get old pics of Reichel and Jr not new pics. Maybe I don't understand how to navigate this blog, it's new to me.

So what made you choose San Jose as opposed to anywhere else in Costa Rica? Personally, while the roads were dreadful, I far preferred some of other towns like Santa Elena...

I don't live IN San Jose ... I look down on San Jose and the Costa Rica Central Valley from the mountains of Las Nubes de Coronado.

As you are aware, Costa Rica is a small but topographically diverse country with a world of difference in weather and traffic in the 10 short miles between the capital and my home in the mountains.

We don't have a McDonald's, Burger King or Taco Bell ... but we do have milk cows walking past the house several times daily and a tranquil downtown area full of shops and restaurants.

This is but one reason I strongly advise that those considering a move to Costa Rica spend some time on the ground researching their final destination.

      !Pura Elevation!
